Cancer survivor and Beaver Elementary student, Grace Martinez, and her sister Anna delivered them.

Parents, attendance is of utmost importance to the education of your children. To be successful in the classroom, students MUST be ON TIME and PRESENT to gain the knowledge from in-person instruction, hand-on experiences, additional one-on-one assistance, and classroom discussion that enriches the curriculum being taught.
Page 14 of the Beaver Public Schools Parent-Student Handbook outlines the attendance policies for your children:
“The Beaver Board of Education believes that in order for students to realize their fullest potential from educational efforts, they should attend all classes if possible. Realizing that some absences may be beyond a student's control, the board has adopted a policy requiring students to be in attendance a minimum of 90% each semester to receive credit for any course in which the student is enrolled… It is the responsibility of the parent to notify the school by 9:00 a.m. if a child is to be absent.
Please make every effort to assist the students of Beaver Schools to be successful in their efforts in the classroom and avoid a situation where they may not receive credit for their classes or have to repeat a grade. If you have any questions, please contact the principal in your child’s building. As always, “It’s ALWAYS a GREAT DAY to be a DUSTER!”
